nubia has launched another variant of its popular nubia Z70 series smartphone in China, the nubia Z70S Ultra. Featuring some top-of-the-line specs, especially in the imaging department, read on to learn more.
Under the hood, the Z70S Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC paired with 12/16/24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS4.0 storage. Battery-wise, it’s a 6600mAh cell which supports 80W charging.
Meanwhile, the display is a 6.85-inch 144Hz 10-bit BOE Q9+ AMOLED with a 1216 x 2688 pixels resolution, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, an in-display fingerprint scanner and an in-display selfie shooter; all protected by the Gorilla Glass 7i. At the rear, the main camera has been improved to a 35mm equivalent f/1.7 lens with a 50MP 1/1.3-inch OmniVision Light Fusion 900, which is paired with a 70mm equivalent 64MP 1/2-inch f/2.48 telephoto and a 13mm equivalent 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide.
Other notable specs include IP68/69 rating and colour options of either Twilight or Melting Gold. In China, the Z70S Ultra starts at CNY4600 or ~RM2754, with global availability yet to be announced.
