realme Malaysia has confirmed that the realme 10 will launch in our country in the near future. Previously, the vanilla variant of the series was not notably missing when the company launched the 10 Pro 5G and 10 Pro+ 5G variants on our shores.
Teased via a poster on its official Facebook page, realme didn’t exactly show off the design of the device but only its marketing material of being the “terminator” smartphone. However, at the very bottom of the poster, it is confirmed that the realme 10 will launch soon albeit without an exact release date.
Given that this would be the entry-level variant of the realme 10 series, we expect the device to pack less powerful hardware compared to its Pro 5G and Pro+ 5G siblings. On the flip side, this means that the device would be more affordable and may prove to be one of the most bang-for-your-buck devices in Malaysia when launched.
Previously, the company already launched the realme 10 in other regions, though there’s a possibility that realme may tweak the specs a bit for our country. If it’s the same model, do expect the device to feature a 90Hz Super AMOLED panel, a 5000mAh battery and the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC.
