realme 10 series just got RM100 cheaper in Malaysia, now officially starts at RM899

realme Malaysia today announced that it is permanently slashing the price of the realme 10 series in our country. Comprising of realme 10 and realme 10 Pro, the devices are now officially RM100 cheaper, starting at just RM899.

In a press release, the company announced that the price adjustment is effective as of today and applicable to both online and offline platforms. Accordingly, the realme 10 (8/256GB) is now RM899 while the realme 10 Pro (8/256GB) is now RM1099.

As a refresher, the realme 10 features a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. There's also 8GB of Dynamic RAM, which allows the realme 10 to reach up to 16GB of RAM in total and run up to 18 apps on standby. Users may also expand the storage further up to 1TB via a microSD card.

On the exterior, the realme 10 also has a 90Hz AMOLED display using a Corning Gorilla Glass 5-grade material. Moreover, the 5000mAh battery supports a 33W fast charging technology that can recharge the phone from zero to 50% in 28 minutes. Finally, the realme 10 features a 50MP primary rear camera and a 16MP front camera with Night mode ProLight and Street Photography Mode 2.0.

Meanwhile, the realme 10 Pro features up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. You can still add in a microSD card of up to 1TB as well as get extra up to 12GB of Dynamic RAM. 

The display features are impressive too, offering up to a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, up to 800 nits peak brightness and FHD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels). The phone is also realme's first 2160Hz PWM Dimming display phone that allows easier reading. For the chipsets, the realme 10 Pro 5G features a Snapdragon 695 and has a 5000mAh battery with fast charging technology, as well as a 108MP primary rear camera.
