Previously, we shared how the realme 12 5G just passed SIRIM certification and now, the smartphone was just released in India. Featuring some compelling specs for the price point, read on to find out more about the device.
Under the hood, the 12 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC paired with 6 or 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. There’s also a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W charging via the USB-C port.
Display-wise, it’s a 6.72-inch 120Hz IPS LCD with an FHD+ resolution and 950 nits peak brightness. There’s also a punch-hole cutout at the top centre which houses the 8MP selfie shooter.
At the back, the main camera setup is a 108MP main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor. Other notable specs include Android 14 vis realme UI 5 OS, a 3.5mm audio jack and colour options of either Twilight Purple or Woodland Green.
In India, the 12 5G is priced at INR16999 or ~RM971 for 6/128GB and INR17999 or ~RM1028. realme is expected release the device in other markets, including Malaysia soon.
