realme 12 Pro series release - Up to SD 7s Gen 2, 67W charging & 64MP periscope lens from ~RM1480

After weeks of hype, realme has finally released the realme 12 Pro series in India. Comprising the realme 12 Pro and realme 12 Pro+, read on to find out more about both devices. 

Firstly, the 12 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage. Under the hood, there’s also a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W charging via the USB-C port.

Screen-wise, it’s a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED with a punch-hole cutout at the top centre housing the 16MP selfie shooter. At the rear, there’s a 50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 32MP telephoto triple-camera setup. 

Meanwhile, the 12 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC paired with 8 or 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. There’s also a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W charging via the USB-C port.

The screen is a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED with a peak brightness of 950 nits and a punch-hole cutout at the top centre housing a 32MP selfie camera. At the rear, the 12 Pro+ has a 50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 64MP periscope triple-camera setup. 

In India, the 12 Pro is offered in either Submariner Blue or Navigator Beige colour options and is priced at INR25999 or ~RM1480 (8/128GB) and INR26999 or ~RM1537 (8/256GB). Meanwhile, the 12 Pro+ is also offered in the same colours and starts at INR29999 or ~RM1708 (8/128GB) and goes up to INR33999 or ~RM1936 (12/256GB).
