As we’ve alluded to previously, realme Malaysia today released its latest mid-ranger in our country, the realme 12x 5G. Featuring some competitive specs in its price range, read on to find out more about the device.
The 12x 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC paired with 8GB RAM and either 128 or 256GB storage. Under the hood, there’s also a 5000mAh battery with support for 15W charging.
Display-wise, it’s a 6.67-inch 120Hz IPS LCD with a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, 625 peak brightness and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 8MP selfie shooter. At the rear, you’ll find the 50MP main AI camera.
Other notable specs include a 360-degree six-antenna 5G layout, an IP54 rating, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm audio jack, Android 14 via realme UI 5.0 and colour options of either Feather Green or Glowing Black. In Malaysia, the 12x 5G starts at RM899 (8/128GB), while the 8/256GB variant is RM1099.
The device will only be offered first via CelcomDigi, Maxis, U Mobile, Yes and redONE starting 3 May 2024. Retail availability will come much later, with pre-orders opening from 5 May onwards via realme’s official online stores on Shopee, Lazada and Tiktok.
