As previously announced, realme has launched new products tonight (18 September 2025) in Malaysia. The main showcase of the event is the realme 15 series, which comprises the realme 15 and realme 15 Pro. Read on for an overview of the two smartphones.
realme 15
The realme 15 comes with a Dimensity 7300+ 5G chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It's a decent upgrade over its predecessor, which featured a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset and 8GB of RAM. More importantly, the new model's 7000mAh battery is significantly larger than the already large realme 14's 6000mAh battery. It will also charge much faster, thanks to its 80W fast charging (vs 45W).
Additionally, the realme 15 has a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Although it's not larger than before, the bezels are now noticeably thinner. This means the realme 15's screen looks very expansive, so watching videos would feel more immersive. A 7000mm² AirFlow VC keeps the phone cool while you enjoy playing games on the screen.
On the camera side, this phone has a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera at the back. As for the front, the realme 15 rocks a single 50MP selfie AI camera. The camera app now has an AI Party Mode, an algorithm for "stunning, true-to-life portraits" in low-light conditions. For video recording, the phone supports 4K30 fps on both front and rear 50MP cameras.
realme 15 Pro
The realme 15 Pro looks similar to the realme 15, but it has some different components on the inside. First, its chipset is a more powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Moreover, it comes in two storage variants - 256GB and 512GB. The display is also the same 6.77-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz, so image quality should be the same as the base version. Besides that, the Pro model has the same 7000mAh battery, so you'll never have to worry about running out in the middle of the day.
However, it does have better cameras than the realme 15. Specifically, the realme 15 Pro has two 50MP cameras at the back and one 50MP camera in front. What it shares with the realme 15 are the camera app features, which include the voice-controlled AI Edit Genie, AI Party phone, and more.
Price and availability
The two realme 15 series smartphones are available for pre-order starting today and will officially release on 27 September 2025. While the standard model retails for RM1499, the realme 15 Pro comes in two variants priced at RM1799 (256GB storage)and RM2099 (512GB storage), respectively. Besides that, pre-order customers will enjoy free gifts worth up to RM1346.
