realme has announced that it will be launching a special edition realme 9 Pro+ in collaboration with Free Fire, a popular multiplayer battle royale mobile game from Garena. Called the realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Limited Edition, realme in a statement today said that it will launch on 18 May 2022.
realme asserted that it recognises eSports as a booming trend among the youths worldwide and that the company will be the first globally to launch alongside the prestigious mobile game. Furthermore, realme said that the smartphone will bring Malaysians another powerful hardware choice for all hardcore and casual mobile gamers.
The launch of the 9 Pro+ Free Fire Limited Edition is the latest by realme to feature a customised smartphone in collaboration with popular IPs. Previously, realme has collaborated with Dragon Ball, Spider-man and more to bring a burst of creativity to the world of smartphone designs.
Comparing the limited edition and the standard realme 9 Pro+, the specs are exactly the same with each other. Hence, it would feature a MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G chipset, 4500mAh battery pack with a 60W fast charging technology, a 6.4-inch 90Hz Super AMOLED display, and a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera. However, the limited edition is only available in an 8GB + 256GB memory variant.
