After a year, the realme Buds Air's successor is finally making its way to the market. The Buds Air 2 is expected to feature several significant upgrades over the first-gen true wireless earbuds. It will be bringing enhanced sound effects, Active Noise Cancellation with Transparency Modes, and new touch controls.

According to the screenshots taken on the realme Link app, the Buds Air 2 will also have a Game Mode that helps to reduce the latency for a better gaming experience. There's also a Volume Enhancer that will further increase the volume in case the song isn't loud enough for you. For the new sound effects, three modes that are Lively, Clear, and Bass Boost+ are found in the app.

Coming to the touch control, a new gesture that lets you touch and hold the left and right earbuds at the same time to switch noise cancellation is expected to be added. It is worth mentioning that the previous generation could only use this gesture on one bud at a time. For now, it only leaves us wondering whether realme will bring wireless charging back after removing it from the Buds Air Pro and Buds Wireless Pro.
