realme Malaysia has been teasing its realme C85 5G phone for a while now. Before the weekday ended, the company announced its partnership with U Mobile and Maxis' Hotlink, making the C85 5G phone more accessible through telco-exclusive postpaid plans, ahead of its official nationwide launch.
The Hotlink Postpaid Offer
The realme C85 5G (8GB + 256GB, RRP RM1099) is available through Hotlink Postpaid 70, priced at RM59 per month over 24 months or RM359 per month over 12 months. The plan includes a substantial 300GB high-speed data allocation, split between 4G/5G data and dedicated 5G usage.

Subscribers also receive unlimited calls and SMS, unlimited hotspot access, and free roaming in Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia, positioning the bundle as a strong value option for heavy data users and frequent travellers.
The U Mobile Offer
On the other hand, U Mobile is also offering the realme C85 5G for free on a 24-month U Postpaid 68 contract. Customers will receive 100GB of combined 4G and 5G data, along with unlimited calls and SMS to all networks and a complimentary Caller ID.

The zero-upfront device pricing significantly lowers the barrier to entry, making the C85 5G an attractive option for users who want durable hardware and 5G connectivity without a large initial spend.
Some realme C85 5G Features
The realme C85 5G stands out in its segment for its IP69 Pro durability certification, making it the first smartphone in its category to achieve this rating. It has earned the device official recognition as a Guinness World Record holder for water resistance, reinforcing its positioning as a rugged smartphone built for real-world conditions. It also features military-grade shock resistance and a massive 7000 mAh Titan Battery.
The nationwide open-market launch of the realme C85 Series is expected soon. Interested buyers can stay updated via realme Malaysia’s official website and Facebook page for further announcements. And stay tuned for our official news coverage only at TechNave.com.
