Earlier this month, the model number for the realme GT 2 Pro was officially listed on IMEI. Sources claimed that the phone could launch soon, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Instead, a new report suggested that the phone will launch in early 2022.

According to 91Mobiles, realme has started product testings for the GT 2 Pro. Once that's done, the company should proceed to manufacture before launching the phone in early 2022. It's expected to come with a Snapdragon 898 chipset, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a 5000mAh battery. It's also rumoured that the phone will support 125W fast charging.

In addition to that, the phone should have a 6.51-inch AMOLED display with curved edges. For cameras, there's going to be a triple-camera at the back (108MP+8MP+5MP) and one selfie camera (32MP). The phone will operate on Android 12 with the custom realme UI 3.0. As for the price, the phone will allegedly be priced at 4000 yuan (~RM2613).

The phone will probably take a while to arrive in Malaysia. Would you get one when it launches here? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
