So finally, the realme GT 5 was launched in China with a starting price of 2999 Yuan (~RM1914). There's no word if the phone is coming to Malaysia yet but here are the details of the tech specs that you need to know so far.

For starters, it was expected that the realme GT 5 is featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and be accompanied by up to a ridiculous 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Its battery is quite big too, using 5240mAh with 150W fast charging technology. There's also a 240W fast-charging version for the 4600mAh battery phone model.

Next, it sports a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with 10bit and 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage. Its refresh rate is up to 144Hz and can also support 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and 1400 nits peak brightness. The realme GT 5 also has an X7 display chip for boosting a mobile game's FPS. On the other hand, the 16MP selfie camera is at the front while the 50MP (main) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) triple camera is at the back.

As aforementioned, there are two realme GT 5 models based on the memory configuration, battery size and charging speed. The 240W, 24GB + 1TB version is 3800 Yuan (~RM2426) and the 150W version has two models - 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB for 2999 Yuan (~RM1914) and 3299 Yuan (~RM2106) respectively.

The realme GT series is quite popular in Malaysia so we won't be surprised to see it coming here. Until then, let's just wait for the news from realme Malaysia.
