The realme GT 7 Pro launched globally in November 2024, followed by the realme GT 7 in April 2025. This year, the company launched the realme GT 8 and realme GT 8 Pro together in China last month. However, the realme GT 8 Pro will have a solo global debut later this month.
Global launch confirmed
The realme India website confirms that the realme GT 8 Pro will launch on 20 November 2025 at noon (2:30 PM MYT). Whether the phone will officially be available here on the same day hasn't been announced. However, the realme GT 7 Pro was released in Malaysia on 18 November 2024, so the chances of a simultaneous launch are high.
Tech specs and features
For realme fans, the realme GT 8 Pro has notable upgrades. First, it sports a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. In addition, the GT 8 Pro has a larger battery (7000mAh vs 6500mAh), higher screen resolution and refresh rate (1440x3136px and 144Hz), a new 200MP telephoto camera (vs 50MP), and an upgraded 32MP front camera. On top of that, the new model's cameras are tuned by Ricoh.
