A few hours ago, realme just globally launched the realme GT3 at the Mobile World Congress 2023 (MWC 2023). As previously teased, it's now the world's fastest-charging phone with 240W and many more.

The realme GT3 is the global variant of the realme GT Neo 5 that was launched in China not too long ago. With that, the tech specs are the same but with a few varieties of memory configurations. The phone has 8GB, 12GB and 16GB of RAM, whereas the storage starts from 128GB, followed by 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. At the moment, the starting price for the 8GB + 128GB is $649 (~RM2915).

To recap the features, the main highlight is the aforementioned 240W SUPERVOOC charging technology. According to realme, it only takes 80 seconds to charge the realme GT3 to 20%, and 9 minutes plus to fully charge the 4600mAh battery pack. To ensure safe temperature control while charging, the phone is equipped with a 6580 mm2-large VC liquid cooling system, a PS3 fireproof design, and 60 layers of safety protection.

According to internal lab testing, the realme GT3 has an 80% lifespan after over 1600 charging cycles with 240W enabled. Intelligent charging is integrated, whereby it detects the user's status and switches the charging status to travel mode, sleep mode, or in-car mode, helping to preserve battery health and preventing overcharging.

Besides that, the C-shaped RGB lighting ring was also previously teased and its' called the Pulse Interface System. It can display different lighting effects depending on the phone's status. If the battery is below 20%, the ring turns red. And if it's above that, purple comes on. Incoming calls and messages use light flashes, but you can personalize it from 25 colour shades and more.

We think it's just a matter of days now before the realme GT will make its way to the Malaysian market. Until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
