Recently, the Vice President of realme, the President of Global Marketing, and the President of China revealed some tech specs for the realme GT8 Pro . So, what should you know about it?
A significant improvement from the previous model
For your information, he revealed that the realme GT8 Pro phone is equipped with a 200-megapixel ultra-high-pixel telephoto lens and a 1/1.56-inch screen that exceeds the Pro Max level.
According to a report by IT Home yesterday, Realme Vice President Wang Wei revealed that Realme has partnered with world-leading AAC Technologies to upgrade the GT8 Pro phone to an 0816 motor. This motor, measuring 448mm³, is 78% larger than the 252mm³ 0809 motor.

Furthermore, the 0816 motor is an ultra-wideband pulse motor, upgraded from the 0809's first-generation ELA technology platform to the 1016's third-generation ESA ultra-wideband hardware platform.
- Motor vibration intensity upgrade: compared with the previous generation, the steady-state vibration is increased by 48% and the transient vibration is increased by 82%.
- Motor response speed upgraded: 50ms "lightning-level" response, 41% faster than the previous generation's 85ms response speed.
Additionally, the official pre-launch information indicates that the realme GT8 Pro will be the first to feature the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition processor and will also debut the R1 gaming graphics chip.
Besides that, the new phone will be released in October. In collaboration with BOE, the realme GT8 Pro will feature a 2K 144Hz Sky Dome display, utilising customised flagship Q10+ luminous materials, which offer comprehensive upgrades in display, eye protection, brightness, form factor, and refresh rate.
No Malaysia release date though
Unfortunately, there is no Malaysian release date. So, we should wait for more announcements from realme Malaysia.
