On the very first day of 2024, realme India just kicked off with a teaser saying something is coming on 3 January 2024 (that's tomorrow). Not only that, realme Indonesia also announced the same thing and since it's our lovely neighbour, could it signal something for our Malaysian market?
According to sources, they say that it could be the launching date for the realme 12 Pro series. In fact, the upcoming lineup has already gotten approvals by India and Indonesia's certification authorities with the model numbers RMX3840 and RMX3842 for the realme 12 Pro and realme 12 Pro+, respectively.

In terms of tech specs, the realme 12 Pro series may use a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and a 120Hz curved-edge OLED display. The telephoto camera on both phones will be different too, featuring a 32MP IMX709 telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom and a 64MP Omnivision OB64B periscope telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, respectively.
Referring back to realme Indonesia's tweet, the announcement is set for 9 AM WIB (Western Indonesian Time) so we can check it out at 10 AM in Malaysia. Until then, let's just wait and see the official news by realme.
