realme Narzo 50 release: MTK Helio G96, 6.6-inch 120Hz display and 5,000mAh battery, starts from ~RM721

realme has introduced the Narzo 50 today to replace the Narzo 30. The new device is similar to the realme 8i but comes with 33W fast charging. Now, let's read on to find out what else it brings to the table!

The realme Narzo 50 sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution. It can switch between 30Hz and 120Hz refresh rate depending on the content. Not only that, but it also comes with a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, it gets fueled by the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM. There's also a considerably large 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W Dart Charge.

The device features a triple camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 50MP primary shooter and two 2MP auxiliary modules for macro and depth shots. Meanwhile, the front gets a 16MP selfie camera housed in a punch-hole cutout. Besides that, the realme Narzo 50 will ship with Realm UI 2.0 based on Android 11 and include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner plus a headphone jack.

For colour options, the realme Narzo 50 is available in Speed Blue and Speed Black. It will start selling in India with the 4/64GB trim retails for INR 12,999 (~RM721), while the 6/128GB model will go for INR 15,499 (~RM860). Currently, it's still unsure when will the device make it to the local market.
