realme Neo7 SE release - 7000mAh battery, Dimensity 8400-Max SoC and 6000nits LTPO display from ~RM1096

realme has released two new entries in its Neo7 smartphone series in China, the realme Neo7 SE and realme Neo7x. This article will be focusing on the realme Neo7 SE, so read on to learn more. 

According to realme’s official Chinese website, the Neo7 SE is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Max SoC paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Under the hood, there’s also a massive 7000mAh battery, which supports 80W charging via the USB-C port.

Display-wise, it’s a 6.78-inch LTPO (1-120Hz) with a 1600 nits peak brightness, 6000 nits local peak brightness, an in-display fingerprint scanner and TUV Rheinland smart eye care certification. The centre punch-hole cutout houses the 16MP selfie shooter, while the rear features a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide. 

Other notable specs include Hi-Res audio, a 7700mm2 single-layer VC vapour chamber, IP69/IP68/IP66 rating, Android 15 via realme UI 6.0 and colour options of either Aure Mecha, White-winged God of War or Darkarmoured Iron Rider-Black. In China, the Neo7 SE starts at CNY1799 or ~RM1096 for the base 8/256GB variant, with global availability yet to be announced.
