The ArmorShell Protection

One of the key highlights of the device is its ArmorShell Protection system, which is designed to improve structural durability. The smartphone carries MIL-STD-810H certification, indicating military-grade shock resistance and includes several structural enhancements to strengthen the device. These include raised corner protection measuring 0.23mm for improved screen protection, internal foam cushioning to protect key components and reinforced display glass.

According to realme, these improvements provide up to 300% greater bend resistance and support a maximum drop height of 1.8 meters. The phone also features IP54-rated dust and water resistance to protect against dust particles and light splashes. Additional practical features include wet-hand touch support and a sound-based water ejection system that helps clear moisture from the speaker.

The 6300mAh Battery

The realme Note 80 also focuses heavily on battery endurance, featuring a large 6300mAh battery, which can deliver up to 740 hours of standby time, 108 hours of music playback, 15 hours of YouTube streaming, 19 hours of WhatsApp usage and up to seven hours of gaming sessions on titles such as Garena Free Fire.

The device also incorporates realme’s Bionic Repair Technology, which is designed to maintain up to 80% battery health even after more than 1000 charging cycles. Charging support includes 15W fast charging as well as reverse charging, allowing the device to power other compatible gadgets when needed.

Other Tech Spec Highlights

Powering the smartphone is an octa-core T7250 chipset built on a 12nm process. The device supports up to 18GB of dynamic RAM along with up to 256GB of internal storage, and it also carries a 48-month fluency certification. On the software side, the device runs Android 15 with realme UI, which includes NEXT AI features designed to optimize battery usage, system performance and daily user interactions.

In terms of design, the realme Note 80 features a slim profile measuring 7.94mm thick and weighs 197g. The smartphone is available in two colour options, Glacier Blue and Storm Black, both inspired by natural elements.

The device is equipped with a 6.74-inch display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate and Eye Comfort technology. It also includes Real DC-Dimming to reduce eye strain during extended viewing sessions.
