While we Malaysians had our single-day holiday, the realme Pad 2 was revealed in India with two colour variants - Inspiration Green and Imagination Grey. There's a good chance that the tablet would make its way to Malaysia at some point but for now, here are the tech specs you should know.
On the official realme India website, the realme Pad 2 features a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, up to 16GB of RAM (including Dynamic RAM), and 256GB of storage. It has a larger display than before, measuring 11.5 inches and also supports 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Other than that, it has a huge 8360mAh battery with 33W SUPERVOOC Charge and runs on realme UI 4.0.
The Dynamic RAM feature is also only available on the 8GB + 256GB variant, though, so you won't get it on the 6GB + 128GB variant. Both models also feature LTE and an 8MP AI camera. There is another camera on the back but its megapixels weren't mentioned if we had to guess, it may be for the bokeh effect or something.
It's also worth mentioning that the realme Pad 2 has Dolby Atmos Quad Speakers and its refresh rate can automatically adapt and change according to the content displayed on the screen. Moreover, realme continued to emphasise on the display features with 450nits peak brightness, 1 billion colours, adaptive brightness and blue light protection.
The 6GB + 128GB model costs 19,999 Rupees (~RM1111) while the 8GB + 256GB model is at 22,999 Rupees (~RM1278). The realme Pad 2 recently got its SIRIM certification back in early July, so maybe we can expect it soon? We shall wait and see.
