The realme Pad 2 has been in the rumour mills for quite some time now, even getting an alleged full-on leak recently. While the tablet has yet been announced by the company, it is likely that a Malaysian release is imminent as the device has been spotted getting SIRIM certification.

Spotted by Amanz, the tablet received approval on 28 June and is confirmed to be the Pad 2 by the listing. Furthermore, the device also has the codename RMP2204, with the applicant’s name being DTL Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

Unfortunately, the SIRIM certification didn’t delve into the specs and features of the tablet, only that it is safe to be used in Malaysia and has gotten the green light to be sold here. If rumours are to be believed, the Pad 2 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Moreover, the tablet is touted to feature an 8360mAh battery with support for 33W charging via USB-C, a 20MP main camera and quad speakers. Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed as of yet.
