After months of being teased by realme, the realme Pad Mini has finally been released yesterday in the Philippines. A smaller version of the realme Pad, the Pad Mini is powered by a Unisoc Tiger T606 SoC with up to 4GB of RAM.
According to realme Phillipines, the Pad Mini also sports an 8.7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1340x800. Furthermore, its 6400mAh battery supports 18W quick charging.
Other things to note regarding the Pad Mini include support for up to 1TB of expandable storage, its weigh of only 372g and its thickness of only 7.6mm. The tablet also has an aluminium alloy body design that comes in either grey or blue.
Completing its specs list are a USB Type-C port, an 8MP f/2.0 rear camera, a 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera and a 3.5mm headphone jack. However, one disappointing thing about the Pad Mini is that it will be running Android 11 instead of the latest Android 12 OS.
The Pad Mini comes in two variants at launch, a 3/32GB WiFi+LTE configuration at PHP9900 or ~RM815 and a 4/64GB WiFI+LTE confiugration at PHP11990 or ~RM985. As of the time of writing, no information has been made by realme on whether the Pad Mini will be made available in Malaysia.
What do you guys think of the newly released mini tablet by realme? Would you snatch one if it would be available in our country in the future?
