realme Pad X 5G sets to debut on 26 July with a 105° front-facing camera

After introducing the realme Pad X in May for the Chinese market, realme finally decided to bring the tablet elsewhere. The company will introduce a new 5G variant of the tablet in India. Not only that, but it will also come with a better 105° front-facing camera.

realme has a new feature called Limelight for the camera. It works by automatically tracking the users to ensure that they are in the center of the frame, allowing free movement rather than being stuck to the chair. Furthermore, the feature supports tracking for up to 5 people, so it should be handy for a group call. The algorithm, which was developed in-house, will also zoom out to accommodate someone new joining the group and zoom back in if someone leaves.

Limelight will be available in Zoom, Google Meet and Duo when the tablet launches, and the company is working on adding more video call platforms to the list. The realme Pad X 5G will be presented in India on 26 July, alongside a new smartwatch, a couple of headphones and a monitor. It's still unknown if these products will make it to Malaysia on the same day or after.
