We first heard of realme's foray into new devices in June. But while the realme Book has since been launched, the realme Pad hasn't been officially revealed yet. Of course, there have been some leaks that hint at it being a flagship tablet. But it could be a mid-ranger instead.

Yesterday, YouTuber Sahil Karoul claimed that the realme Pad will be using a MediaTek chipset, instead of a Snapdragon chipset like many expected. In fact, he later said that it's a Helio G80 chipset. For your information, MediaTek's G-series chipsets are usually found in mid-range devices with a focus on mobile gaming.

However, leaked renders reveal that the realme Pad will have a solid aluminium body. It will also have a 10.4-inch OLED display, quad speakers, and a 7100mAh battery. In other words, this tablet may not have flagship performance but it will have some premium features to make up for it.

It's rumoured that realme's first tablet could retail for around USD 309 (~RM1296), but if it's a mid-ranger then we expect the price to be lower than that. Let us know if that makes you keen on buying one, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news about it.
