When it comes to smartphones, realme has enough options to cater to everyone. In fact, its portfolio is about to grow soon with the realme X9 series. The realme X9 Pro was certified 2 weeks ago, and now the standard realme X9 may have been spotted.

Previously, the realme RMX3361 was spotted on TENAA. At the time, sources suggested that this could be the realme X9 Pro. Now, a realme RMX3381 has also been certified on TENAA. Judging by the specs listed, this is a lower-end device compared to the realme RMX3361, so it could be the vanilla realme X9. While they probably have the same chipset (both 2.4GHz CPU), the realme RMX3381 only has up to 8GB of RAM instead of 12GB.

The camera specs are also weaker

In terms of features, the realme X9 only has a modest 48MP+2MP+2MP triple-camera setup, while the front camera is 16MP. Also, the display is a normal LCD instead of an AMOLED display. Interestingly, the vanilla model has a slightly larger and heavier body. This could be due to the 4880mAh battery, which is larger than the RMX3361's listed 2100mAh (possibly dual-battery).

While the numbers listed on TENAA are probably accurate, we can't confirm if the realme RMX3381 is the realme X9 due to a lack of images. As usual, take the news with a grain of salt.
