Today, the latest realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 is officially released globally as we speak. Many realme smartphones are qualified for the new software update but at a later date according to realme's roadmap. The first phone to receive it is the realme GT this month and you can view the roadmap at the bottom of the page.

While we haven't experienced realme UI 3.0 yet, we know that there are some minor changes for the app icons to look more "3D". The layout also has a spatial sense throughout to lower information density, as well as enhancing the title size, symbols and text contrast. Perhaps even more important is the personalisation which users can customise icons, backgrounds fonts and other features via the global theme colour function.

AI Smooth Engine is added in realme UI 3.0 to reduce the power consumption which decreases memory usage by 30%, improves overall app launching performance by 10%, and increases battery life by 12%.
