Qualcomm has not given up on developing 4G chipsets yet, as the company has announced three new chipsets today and they are all non-5G compatible. Although 5G is making its way to our lives, it is still not that fast to be fully available in every corner of the world at the moment. Therefore, 4G smartphones will still continue hitting the market until its time has come to an end.
The new Snapdragon chipsets that have been announced are 720G, 662 and 460. All of them are designed for budget-friendly smartphones, but still offer fast 4G speeds, Wi-Fi 6 capability, and Bluetooth 5.1. What’s cool about these three chipsets is that they are the first chipsets to support the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC) GPS system.
