Last time, we were tricked by realme as the brand released a teaser poster for its "upcoming laptop MeowBook" one day before April Fool's Day. Although it was just a prank, there's no denying it's possible for the smartphone manufacturer to venture into the laptop segment in the near future. Today, a new report has arrived saying that realme already started preparing for it by asking the public to fill up a laptop survey.

The survey is conducted via Google Forms by asking some basic questions including gender, age group, and annual income. Besides that, there are also some questions that want to know the smartphones used by the participants and how satisfied they are with them. Now, the interesting part is the brand also asked whether the participants are looking to buy a laptop in the next 3 months, which suggests that realme laptops could be launched in Q3 2021.

Other than that, realme is also interested in knowing what are the features that the participants would like to see on a laptop, and how much they're willing to spend on laptops by providing a price range from as low as under ₹30,000 (~RM1,666) to as high as ₹50,000 (~RM2,777) & above. For now, it is unsure if realme will reveal its first laptop in the coming months as not much information has been given. However, this survey definitely means something that we can get excited about.
