If you are familiar with realme, you would know by now that they are quite aggressive in marketing. Apart from releasing new phones every month, the company is also on a mission to implement 5G technology on several upcoming smartphones. To support this, they are investing and setting up new Research and Development centres for 5G.

According to realme, they plan to invest $300 million and set up seven R&D centres globally so that the 5G rollout would be easier. Besides that, nearly 90% of R&D resources are to be reallocated for 5G related matters in products and applications. Just this year along, they have already set up pilot testing centres in 10-15 markets.

On top of that, they also plan to have at least ten 5G experience zones for the public (especially the youngsters) to experience 5G technology in cloud gaming and ultra HD live broadcast with AR first hand. realme also wants to work closely with many industry partners like telecom operators, Internet providers and app developers on this 5G technology.

Currently, realme is heavily marketing towards Southeast Asia, India and Europe. We won't be surprised to see a 5G centre or experience zone here in Malaysia one day, as realme Malaysia is quite active and has its own fair amount of fan base. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
