realme now has a sub-brand called Dizo, feature phones spotted on FCC

It's surprising to hear, but even a relatively new brand like realme already has a sub-brand. Dubbed Dizo, the new brand will allegedly have a focus on Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT). Two feature phones have also been spotted on the US FCC.

According to GSMArena, production units of the Dizo Star 300 and Star 500 were found on the FCC website. These feature phones are being tested by the US certification organisation, which suggests that they may become available in the coming weeks. Anyway, the smaller Dizo Star 300 has a relatively large 2500mAh battery, while the Dizo Star 500's highlight is its screen.

Besides feature phones, the brand also has wearables

Both devices support dual-SIM with 2G connectivity, so it's clear they're not targeted at the average urban user. Of course, that's not all Dizo has to show so far. The company also has the Dizo GoPods, Dizo GoPods D, and Dizo Watch, which were spotted on Shopee's Vietnam page. These are based on the realme Buds Air 2, realme Buds Q2, and realme Watch 2, respectively.

Judging by the types of products shown so far, Dizo could be a sub-brand targeted at regions with lower buying power. We probably won't be seeing these in Malaysia, but what do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more tech news like this.
