realme's upcoming smartphone might come equipped with the Snapdragon 888 chipset

Based on a statement by Xu Qi Chase on weibo, it seems that realme might be planning to manufacture a realme smartphone that comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. While there’s no official information in regards to the release date, our source did mention that the device might come with the codename “Race” and it is expected to be unveiled somewhere around Q1 2021.

Other than the chipset mentioned above, the device is also expected to come equipped with up to 12GB RAM, 256GB ROM, as well as the Android 11 OS. Do take every bit of information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that realme has yet to provide an official statement on the leak.
