At MWC 2025, realme unveiled its groundbreaking Interchangeable-Lens Concept. The prototype features a 1-inch customized Sony sensor paired with a proprietary lens mount system, enabling users to attach DSLR lenses directly to a smartphone.
With two pro-level lenses — 73mm portrait and 234mm telephoto — it delivers DSLR-level optical clarity for mobile devices, from bokeh to lossless 10x zoom. Alongside the Interchangeable-Lens Concept, realme also previews two AI imaging technologies, making photo and video editing much more effortless.
For example, the AI Voice-based Retoucher allows users to edit photos with just their voice. They could just say, "Remove the background," "Change the sky to sunset," or "Add some fireworks in the background" — and the editing will happen in real time. AI Video Eraser is another feature that can remove unwanted objects or people from videos with a single tap.
Meanwhile, realme also did a global launch of the realme 14 Pro 5G. It was first launched in China earlier this year, followed by India and now in Europe. To recap the features, the realme 14 Pro 5G sports a unique Pearl Design with natural micro-crystal shell powder. Utilising advanced thermochromic pigments, it can change colour from pearl white to vibrant blue at low temperatures.
Moreover, the realme 14 Pro 5G sports a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset, a 6000mAh Titan Graphite battery and a 50MP Sony IMX882 50MP OIS camera. As a camera-centric device, realme also integrated a MagicGlow Triple Flash function to take night portraits better. Powered by NEXT AI, the series introduces AI Ultra Clarity 2.0, bringing AI Super-Resolution to mid-range devices.
