A few hours ago, realme India made an announcement that there will be a new P Series lineup coming soon. It's scheduled on 15 April 2024 and we will be seeing a new realme P1 5G and realme P1 Pro 5G.
According to the web portal, the realme P1 5G will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G chipset, a 7-layer Vapor Chamber Cooling System, and a 120Hz AMOLED display with a 2000nits peak of brightness. On the other hand, the realme P1 Pro 5G also has a 120Hz AMOLED display but uses a different chipset - a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 unit. It will also have a 45W SUPERVOOC Charge technology.
Since the launch is happening in India, there will be some lottery lucky draw prizes to be won. It's currently happening now and lucky winners can bring home a realme P1 5G, realme Buds Air 5, a realme Mobile Game Trigger and a few thousand realme coins. There is no word if the realme P1 5G Series will come to Malaysia or not.
That said, the realme brand is quite popular in Malaysia due to its affordable lineup of phones. Until then, we will have to wait and see if realme Malaysia plans to import this new series here or if it's just an exclusive lineup for the Indian market.
