Today Astro has launched sooka TV Stick. This allows new and existing customers to enjoy cookie content on a TV screen instead of a mobile device. The new sooka TV Stick is powered by Android TV and supports streaming content up to 4K resolution and Dolby Atmos audio. So, what should you know about it?

It is designed for ease of use by allowing users to simply plug the device into the TV's HDMI port and immediately enjoy the platform's services after connecting to the internet. sooka TV Stick has more or less the same functionality as other Android TV dongles including access to Voice Assistant and the Google Play Store.

Interestingly, the device supports various Android apps including third-party streaming platforms like Disney+ Hotstar. However, Netflix is currently not supported. sooka TV Stick uses a custom launcher on top of Android TV that will feature a brand new interface for navigation. Every sooka TV Stick purchase will receive a Bluetooth remote control that features voice recognition capabilities. sooka TV Stick is sold at RM349 and comes with one month of premium access, 24 free TV channels, selected On Demand content and 3 months access to Disney+ Hotstar.

Customers who purchase a 12-month Premium Plan package at a price of RM579 will receive a sooka TV Stick at no additional cost and 3 months access to Disney+ Hotstar. Customers will not be bound by a contract when purchasing a sooka TV Stick and can enjoy free channels even if they do not subscribe to sooka.

Finally, the sooka TV Stick can be purchased now on sooka's official website. It will also be sold through authorised retailers nationwide. For more information on sooka and sooka TV Stick, please click here.
