Have you seen the new Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi posters online? Looks pretty cool. But what's even cooler is that Disney has also revealed a new AR game for Star Wars at the D23 Expo event, turns out that they have been collaborating with Lenovo on this bringing an immersive Star Wars experience one step closer to our homes!
Called The Star Wars Jedi Challenges, it involves the user to wield a lightsaber controller (#heavybreathing) with the game carried out in a special AR headgear and of course, the app from your smartphone. There isn't much information about the new Star Wars AR system, but basically it was designed to give Star Wars fans an opportunity to recapture some of their favorite moments from Star Wars films in ways never before possible, such as the Holochess that was seen in Star Wars: A New Hope and The Force Awakens.
The devices will be sold at Best Buy and Lenovo's online store, we hope that Lenovo Malaysia will also try to bring this into Malaysia around December since that's when the movie will premiere.
