Many smartphone manufacturers are breaking boundaries and keep bringing innovative technology to the world of smartphone photography. From ultra-wide-angle lens to ToF (time-of-flight) sensors, these are the new things we can use to explore with our smartphone cameras and we are definitely loving the results. Now, vivo is bringing a whole new innovation to the upcoming APEX 2020’s cameras, let’s find out what it is about!

Earlier today, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer teased us again by posting a poster of APEX 2020. The poster has revealed that vivo is preparing to launch a new unique camera system with the device, and it’s being recognized as PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) camera at the moment.

The vivo APEX 2020 is going to come with a circular camera module at the back. People are guessing that the camera module will be featuring some sort of moving mechanism to stabilize images. Other than that, the company still hasn't revealed much information about the new camera system such as how it will be functioning.

For the record, vivo has actually been making histories in the smartphone photography field. The company was the world’s first to introduce an F1.8 aperture optical image stabilization back in 2014. In 2018, the company announced a ToF 3D Super induction technology as well. With the teasers, we really can’t wait until 28 February to take a look at the APEX 2020!
