So just a few days ago, we reported that the upcoming vivo NEX 2 could actually adopt dual screens along with a set of triple cameras. Well, looks like it's the official thing now - vivo has just released the official render as well as the official launching date on 11 December 2018.

So yes, actual dual screens, one on each side. Which one is the front or back? And how is that going to work? Well, the one that is called the rear is the one with the triple camera setup along with an LED flashlight. There won't be any front cameras at all so that also means the triple cameras are used for taking selfies too. In other words, that probably means that the rear display serves as a photo-taking viewfinder role.

As for the front display, it has been speculated that the in-display fingerprint sensor will be there. Inside the phone, there lies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and could go up to 10GB of RAM, 128GB storage, and a brand new Funtouch OS to operating to accommodate the dual screen experience. Nothing on the camera sensors, but it will surely come with AI-capability features.

We aren't sure if the NEX 2 will come into Malaysia or not, but we will definitely check out the official coverage. Stay tuned for more vivo news at TechNave.com.
