vivo NEX finally lands in Malaysia for RM2799 with a 6.59-inch notch-less FullView display, Snapdragon 845 chipset and more

So, the vivo NEX actually has been around for quite a while now but the full specifications aren't really black and white. But anyhow, we finally got the full plate served from vivo Malaysia and as to how the speculation whispered, the NEX is priced at RM2799 only and will be available for pre-order starting today at every vivo concept stores, authorised resellers, as well as their online store at their own website, Lazada, Shopee and 11street. 

For our region, it seems that the lesser variant with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset that was revealed in China is not coming at all, so we are getting the big gun after all which comes with a Snapdragon 845 chipset (finally). The Snapdragon 845 model also runs on 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage instead of the 256GB storage, no expandable memory available, though. Of course, as we mentioned in our NEX series hype news, it features a pop-up front camera, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a Screen SoundCast technology and more.

Like the X21, the bottom has the same layout for the speaker, USB Type-C and a dual SIM tray (nano only)

While the power and volume buttons are on the right, there's actually an AI Jovi button on the left which exclusively supports Google's AI services such as Google Assistant and Google Lens which is backed up by Vivo's very own AI Engine as well increasing AI performance.

The camera of the device as been upgraded to the Sony IMX363 lens and 4-axis, Optical Image Stabilization, Electronic Image Stabilization as well as an AI Photography Assistant which features AI HDR, AI Filters, and AI Portrait Framing. Below is the official specification list:
