vivo Pad Air released - 12GB + 512GB model, priced at ~RM1144

It was only last week when we reported that there would be a new vivo Pad Air. Well, vivo has finally unveiled the price and it's set to launch in China first as usual. According to sources, the launching date is today and it costs 1799 Yuan (~RM1144).

Previously, one of the specifications that wasn't mentioned was the memory configuration. There is only one variant which is the 12GB + 512GB model, but it also supports an 8GB memory extension. On top of that, it also has an 8MP camera and supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.

To recap the rest of the features, the vivo Pad Air is also powered by a Snapdragon 870 chipset, an 11.5-inch 144Hz display with 2.8K resolution, 8500mAh with 44W fast charging technology and runs on OriginOS 3 and allows cross-system collaboration between computers, phones and the tablet itself. Other noteworthy features include a quad-speaker set with Super Audio computing sound system, up to 10.7 billion colours and 500 nits peak brightness.

Weighing at only 530 grams and measuring at 6.67mm in thickness, the Pad Air features a seamless metal body and comes in three colour options - Free Blue, Brave Pink and Easy Silver. It is unknown if vivo Malaysia plans to import this tablet here but we shall see.
