vivo was on a roll this week, releasing two new smartphones, a watch and two other tablets as well. We have talked about the vivo Pad 5 Pro before, and now in this news article, it will be about the vivo Pad SE tablet.
According to the vivo China website, the Pad SE's chipset is not specified, but it is an octa-core 4nm Snapdragon unit, so we can only assume it's quite low tier. Nevertheless, its battery pack is probably the biggest highlight feature, using 8,500mAh power juice that supports a 15W charging speed via USB 2.0 Type C.

Its LCD measures 12.3 inches and has a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. Moreover, the display's touch sampling rate reaches up to 180Hz, supports 2,464 x 1,600 pixels resolution and 16.7 million colours, and settles on a 1.54:1 screen aspect ratio. Additionally, the front camera is just 5MP, whereas the single rear camera has the same sensor.
As an SE variant, there aren't many things to look at. The Pad SE runs on OriginOS 5 HD and also supports Bluetooth 4.2. Below is the list of official prices in China for each memory variant:
vivo Pad SE Standard Edition
- 8GB+256GB: 1,599 Yuan (~RM964)
- 8GB+128GB: 1,299 Yuan (~RM783)
- 6GB+128GB: 999 Yuan (~RM602)
vivo Pad SE Soft Light Edition
- 8GB+256GB: 1,799 Yuan (~RM1K)
- 8GB+128GB: 1,499 Yuan (~RM903)
- 6GB+128GB: 1,199 Yuan (~RM722)
Just like the other new vivo devices that were announced, it is unknown if the vivo Pad SE will ever come to Malaysia. Guess we will need to wait and see. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
