The vivo S1 Pro is scheduled to be launched on 3 December 2019 in Malaysia. Our neighbouring country, the Philippines, has already got their hands on the device earlier. Followed by the launch in the Philippines, we have a clue of where the price range might sit as a mid-range device. The price of S1 Pro could be around RM1313 when it comes to Malaysia.
vivo Malaysia’s official site has already unveiled the detailed specs of the upcoming vivo S1 Pro. The device features a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90% screen-to-body ratio. There is also a fingerprint scanner located under the screen. The device will have Always-On display as well thanks to its AMOLED’s self-illuminating feature.
For performance, vivo S1 Pro houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset that supports up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage. S1 Pro also has a large 4500 mAh battery that comes with Dual-Engine Fast Charging technology through the type-C port. Another feature called Multi-Turbo is able to provide you powerful gaming experience by increasing key performance, accelerating responses, and keeping your device cool.
The vivo S1 Pro has a diamond-shaped cut out quad-camera setup at the back. It comes with a 48MP main camera, 8MP super wide-angle camera, 2MP super macro lens, and a 2MP bokeh camera. For selfies, you can use the 32MP camera at the front that is designed as a teardrop notch.
vivo S1’s initial launching price was RM1099, so it does make sense for the S1 Pro to be more expensive at around couple hundred bucks as the pro variant. Our guessing on the price would be RM1299?
