vivo S1 Pro passed SIRIM certification, coming to Malaysia soon

The pro variant of vivo S1, vivo S1 Pro has passed the SIRIM certification so that means the device will be coming to the Malaysian market soon. It is also said that the device will be called different names in different markets. In India and Russian markets, it is reportedly named vivo V17.

In China, vivo has recently launched vivo S5 which sports the same design as S1 pro. However, the tech specs of the devices are not the same. For this article, we will be following the rumored tech specs of S1 Pro from the Phillipines version. The pro variant will be equipped with a 6.38-inch AMOLED display that offers full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. It will also be having a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. An in-display fingerprint reader will be included as well.

The other specs of the device include a Snapdragon 665 chipset, 8GB RAM, and 128GB of storage that is expandable up to 256GB. The device will come with a 4500mAh battery that supports an 18W dual-engine fast charging technology through USB-C.

For photography, there will be a diamond-shaped quad-camera system at the back that comes with a 48MP Samsung GM1 primary lens and a 120-degree 8MP super wide lens. For shooting selfies, there will be a 32MP front-facing camera.
