vivo is another brand that wastes no time when it comes to refreshing its smartphone series. After launching the vivo S10 series back in July, it's now rumoured to bring the successor, vivo S12, to the market next month. According to the source, the upcoming S-series will sport a new design as well.

If you're one of the people that doesn't like the notch on the vivo S10, this is good news for you. A tipster, who goes by the name Arsenal, reveals that the upcoming vivo S12 would use display panels from Samsung. As Samsung doesn't make displays with notches, it's safe to say the new device would go with a punch-hole cutout.

Besides that, there's also the S12 Pro which is said to use panels from BOE instead. Furthermore, vivo might also present the Pro variant with three colour options, while the vanilla variant could only have one. There's still no information about the other tech specs of the devices, but we think we should hear more from them soon since the launch is predicted to be in next month.
