vivo S30 and S30 Pro mini release - 6500mAh battery, 90W charging and 50MP main camera from ~RM1595

vivo has released two new smartphones in China, the vivo S30 and vivo S30 Pro mini. Both share the same excellent specs for their class, except for their size and processor, so read on to learn more. 

Let’s start with the differences. The S30 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, while the S30 Pro mini features the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset.

Moreover, the S30 has a 6.67-inch 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED, while the S30 Pro mini, true to its name, has a 6.31-inch FHD+ LTPO AMOLED. Besides that, the S30 offers an IP64 rating, while the S30 Pro mini sports an IP68/69 rating. 

Both devices have a 6500mAh battery, which supports 90W charging via the USB-C port. Camera-wise, they both feature a 50MP main camera paired with a 50MP 3x periscope and an 8MP ultra-wide.

At the front, the S30 and S30 Pro Mini have a 50MP selfie shooter. Other notable specs include Android 15 via OriginOS and in-display optical fingerprint scanners. The S30 is offered in Peach Pink, Mint Green, Lemon Yellow or Cocoa Black colour options and starts at CNY2699 or ~RM1595 in China. 

As for the S30 Pro mini, it starts at CNY3499 or ~RM2068 and is offered in either Cool Berry Powder, Mint Green, Lemon Yellow or Cocoa Black colour options.
