The vivo V20 series is rumoured to have a new member after debuting in Malaysia last month with the price starting from RM1,499. In China, the series is called vivo S7 and a new vivo S7e 5G has been discovered recently. Despite having lower tech specs, the newly found 5G device is expected to be a new contender within the cheap 5G smartphone category.

The vivo S7e 5G was spotted with a model number vivo V2031EA on TENAA last week. It is expected to come with a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. There could be a 4,100mAh battery as well under the hood. For the chipset, the device might feature MediaTek's Dimensity 720.

Other than that, it could also bring a triple camera setup for photography. The setup is expected to have a 64MP main camera, an 8MP secondary lens, and a third 2MP unknown sensor. On the front, there would be a 32MP selfie camera placed in a waterdrop notch. The TENAA listing also revealed that the device has an in-screen fingerprint sensor and its OS will be based on Android 10. Last but not least, it is rumoured to be one of the cheapest 5G phones from the brand as well.
