vivo is set to release another mid-range smartphone in India on 22 September, the vivo T2 Pro. Building up to the launch, vivo India teased the smartphone’s key specs, including its processor.

Taking to its official X account, vivo India announced that the smartphone will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset. Furthermore, the company claimed that the SoC makes the upcoming device the “fastest smartphone in the price segment”.

Previously, vivo India revealed the smartphone’s design which looks awfully similar to the iQOO Z7 Pro. Given that iQOO is vivo’s subsidiary, it looks likely that both smartphones will feature the same specs.

If so, do expect the T2 Pro to sport a 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED FullHD+ panel, 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The iQOO Z7 Pro also has an IP52 rating, a 4600mAh battery with 66W charging, a 64MP main camera and a 16MP selfie shooter.

Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed yet. Until launch day on 22 September, do stay tuned to TechNave for the latest developments on this and for more trending tech news.
