vivo today released the vivo V25 5G in Malaysia, its latest offering in the midrange smartphone segment. Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM, there is also an option to have a virtual RAM extension of up to another 8GB by utilising the device's storage.
Speaking of which, the smartphone is only available in one singular storage option which is 256GB. As for the screen, the V25 5G sports a 6.44-inch 90Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of Full HD+. Furthermore, it has a touch sampling rate of 180Hz, supports HDR10+ and has 1300 nits of peak brightness.
The screen also features a water drop notch which houses a massive 50MP selfie camera with autofocus. At its rear, the V25 features a 64MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro triple-camera setup with OIS.
Other notable specs include a 4500mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging, an under-display fingerprint scanner, 5G connectivity, dual-SIM, micro-SD slot (up to 1TB), NFC, Android 12 OS via Funtouch OS 12 and three colour options of Diamond Black, Aquamarine Blue and Sunrise Gold. The V25 5G also has a unique Colour Changing feature which is only available on the Sunrise Gold and Aquamarine Blue variants.
In Malaysia, the V25 5G is priced at RM1799 and is available for pre-order from now until 2 September 2022 via Shopee and Lazada. On the vivo Official Store on Shoppe, consumers can get exclusive free gifts worth up to RM577, which include a V25 Series Leather Backpack, a 1-year extended warranty worth RM199 and 1-year screen crack protection worth RM249. Besides that, the pre-order on Shopee also provides an add-on deal promotion that provides you with an 80 per cent discount for purchasing the vivo Tws2 ANC.
