After teasing the device’s release for the past week, vivo Malaysia announced the launch of the vivo V27e in our country today. The only smartphone from the V27 series to currently enter our country, the V27e’s main highlight has got to be its camera setup.
At its rear, the device sports a 64MP main + 2MP bokeh + 2MP macro triple-camera setup, the main camera is an f/1.79 OIS Ultra-Sensing camera. The rear camera setup allows for an Aura Light Portrait feature that integrates optical and computing photography which vivo claims can improve the portrait image quality.
There’s also Hybrid Image Stabilisation (OIS + EIS) which the company claims can take videos with bright and clear details in dimly lit environments. Meanwhile, a 32MP selfie camera is embedded in the display’s punch-hole cutout.
Speaking of which, the V27e sports a 6.62-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The battery is rated at 4600mAh and supports 66W fast charging (power adapter included in the box) via the V27e’s USB-C port.
Other notable specs include Android 13 via Funtouch OS 13, Bluetooth 5.2, dual SIM, microSD card support and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Sadly, there’s no 5G connectivity.
In Malaysia, the V27e is offered in Lavender Purple and Glory Black colour options for a price of RM1299. It is available for purchase at all vivo concept stores, authorised dealers, vivo Malaysia’s official E-Store and vivo Malaysia’s official flagship stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok.
From 4 March 2023 onwards for a month, customers who purchase the vivo V27e will receive free gifts worth RM666, including a smart tag worth RM69, a Bluetooth speaker worth RM99, a 1-year extended warranty and 1-year screen protection.
