Previously, we reported that vivo may launch the vivo V27 series soon after a promotional poster of the lineup was allegedly leaked online. Now, a variant of the series, the V27e was just spotted getting SIRIM certification, alluding to its potential release in Malaysia soon.

Shared by Mukul Sharma on Twitter, the tipster revealed that the V27e was spotted on the SIRIM database with the model number V2237. Furthermore, the same model number was also spotted getting certification from the Indian BIS, meaning that the device may be released in Malaysia and India first.

As reported by GizmoChina, the device was previously spotted on the Google Play Console listing that revealed most of its specs. Among others, the V27e features a 1080 x 2400 pixels display, a MediaTek Helio G99 (MT6789) SoC, 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 13.

Of course, do take this information with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed as of yet. Well, given that it has gotten SIRIM’s certification, it is very likely that the device would be released in our country in the near future.
