Today, vivo Malaysia unveiled the vivo V29 5G and there will be two variants on sale. Should vivo fans get this phone early, they will get exclusive gifts worth RM995 that include a 1+1 extended warranty, 1-year screen protection, a free pair of TWS earbuds as well as a protective cover and a screen protector.
To start off, the V29 5G features a Snapdragon 778G chipset, alongside 12GB of RAM and two memory variants as mentioned earlier which are 256GB and 512GB. It also has an 8GB of Extended RAM and the battery is a respectable 4600mAh that supports 80W fast charge technology, and even has a cooling system called the Ultra Large VC Bionic.
Like all previous V series, the V29 is no different in highlighting the camera features. It has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, 8MP wide-angle camera, and 2MP monochrome camera. On the front, it has another 50MP capable of ultra-wide shots. The phone utilises Hybrid Image Stabilisation (OIS + EIS) but the main highlight would be the Aura Light Portrait 2.0. This flashlight can automatically adjust colour temperature lighting depending on the situation. On paper, it's great for low-light environments.
Other than that, the phone comes in Starry Purple and Noble Black colourways. The AMOLED display is 3D curved and supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution and 1.07 billion colours. Finally, the prices for the 256GB and 512GB storage variants are RM1899 and RM2099, respectively.
